pARTicipate Creative Workshops is an arts based organisation that specialise in working with disadvantaged groups and individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities. The bespoke workshops are designed and delivered to meet the specific needs of each individual group, ensuring the activities are accessible and inclusive to all abilities!
Through our experience of delivering participatory workshops with groups, we believe that creativity can facilitate positive developments on numerous levels. Our foremost aims are to encourage engagement, positive interaction and motivation, which is supported through our creative approach, materials and themes that are used. We believe that if these factors are present, it is then through creative involvement that we can start to see increased confidence levels, group cohesion and improvements in core skills. Most importantly the workshops endeavour to empower participants and captivate their creativity, giving room to explore in a safe and containing environment.
pARTicipate Creative Workshops can offer a range of visual art experiences to suit your project. We strongly believe that drama and movement play an important role in helping to engage individuals, so, where possible, we endeavor to incorporate arts forms as to broaden the creative experience.
